Flawless Smile Dentistry’s Dedication to State-of-the-Art Dentistry

Intraoral Cameras

Our MouthWatch intraoral camera will enable you to finally see your mouth from the dentist’s perspective. About the size of a pen, this device helps both you and our team get a better look at your smile by capturing high-resolution images we can display on a nearby monitor. With them, Dr. Torabi can point out any areas of concern, discuss the benefits of various treatments, and give you a more insightful overall perspective regarding your dental care.

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool we use in our dental office every single day, but they used to be constrained by the limits of film, leading to long development times that made appointments drag on. Now, we’ve upgraded to fully digital X-rays, which only take seconds to generate extremely detailed images of the surfaces beneath the teeth and gums. They are not only faster compared to regular X-rays, but safer as well, as they don’t require toxic chemicals to be developed and emit only a small fraction of radiation by comparison.

Cone Beam 3D Scanner

When planning for more complicated dental procedures, Dr. Torabi often needs more information than what a traditional X-ray can show him, and that’s when he likes to use our cone beam 3D scanner. This amazing device creates an exhaustively detailed 3D X-ray model of the teeth, jaw, and supporting structures, enabling Dr. Torabi to completely tailor a procedure to someone’s unique dental anatomy. This not only guarantees a successful treatment but ensures an easy recovery as well.

Digital Impression System

Digital impressions on computer screen

Instead of having a patient bite down onto cold, odd-tasting dental putty, Dr. Torabi now only needs to take a few no-contact scans of the mouth to create a highly accurate dental impression. It just takes a few minutes to scan the mouth, and then you can watch as sophisticated software generates a fully digital impression on a nearby monitor. Compared to the old way, this approach is much faster and more comfortable; it also delivers an excellent impression the first time, every time!

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Treating the gums for infection used to be very uncomfortable for patients because it required using scalpels and sutures on very sensitive tissues. Thankfully, Dr. Torabi can now perform the same procedures more quickly and painlessly using a soft tissue laser. With it, he can effortlessly remove harmful bacteria and infected tissue from along the gum line, all the while reducing any bleeding, swelling, or pain to practically nothing. Many patients don’t even need local anesthetic during laser treatments!

Sedation Dentistry

Does going to the dentist cause you or your child to become extremely anxious? If so, our team can provide two types of sedation that are proven to calm those annoying dental nerves. Nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) is safe, gentle, and has been used for over 100 years to calm fearful patients of all ages. Alternatively, for those with more severe dental phobia, Dr. Torabi can prescribe them an anti-anxiety pill to take before their appointment, helping someone feel completely relaxed no matter what kind of procedure they need.
